The Beauty Within

The Norstrom Beauty Exclusive Pre-Sale has already started, and there’s tons of great things that I want to get my little hands on.

From MAC, I’m looking at the M·A·C Colour Forms Richmetal Highlighter (Nordstrom Exclusive) that’s $16.50.  It looks like it’ll be great to use as a highlight right below the brow, in the inner corner of the eye, and also on the top of the cheek bone.

I’m also loving the Dior ‘Gaucho’ Palette (Nordstrom Exclusive) that’s $55.00.  It comes with 4 gorgeous easy to wear colors that I think would work great for Fall, and 2 bold lip colors that goes well by itself and with the 4 eye colors.  The best part, IMO, is the cute little case that it comes in!  Plus, if you think about it, it’s only about $9.25 for each shadow and lip color, so what a steal.  On top of that, you’ll receive a free deluxe sample of the cult fav mascara, Diorshow, with a $50 purchase from Nordies.

I’m also looking to get the Too Faced ‘Tricks of the Trade’ Set (Nordstrom Exclusive) that’s only $40.  So what are you getting for $40? You are getting full sizes of absolutely invisible translucent powder, totally toasted eyeshadow duo, shadow insurance shadow primer, champagne-infused lip of luxury lip color in totally nude, and a mini lash injection.  That’s 5 products for only $8 each.  I think it’s a great set for anyone looking for some basics (Pearl and Wendy, you girls should look into this).  

Lastly, I want Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (Nordstrom Exclusive Deluxe Size)  .  I love gel moisturizers, and the texture of this gel moisturizer feels very soft and hydrating.  Cost wise, it’s about $5.29/oz, where as the normal sized version costs $5.48/oz.  Yes, I’m stingy, and I do buy in bulk often to save money. I just think this is a great value!

There’s of course tons of other products I’d love to purchase from this sale, but my budget won’t allow it.  For example, the MAC brush sets looks divine, and it’s also a great value.  Actually, I’d love to buy all the eye and lip palettes from MAC’s Colour Form line, with all the cute cases and what not.

-Sigh.. why can’t I just resist these gorgeous make up products?
