The Beauty Within

I just learned today that because my company’s headquarter is located in North Carolina, we, the employees in Los Angeles, are getting paid the same wage as those in NC.  Problem, LA is ridiculously expensive to live in, so while my salary can provide a decent living for someone in NC, it puts me in a super tight budget.

So what’s a beauty gal like me suppose to do?

Try cheaper alternatives!!

Wet n Wild has been in drugstores for a long time, and many of us probably bought it back when we were in elementary/middle school because we could actually afford it.  This is before the days of MAC, Nars, and other high end brands called us forward and tempt us to empty out our wallets.  Recently Wet n Wild reformulated and repackaged a lot of their products, making it feel less cheap.

The best part of inexpensive make up?  You can actually try out colors you normally wouldn’t, and if it doesn’t work out for you, you won’t feel guilty about throwing it aside.  I just bought a liquid liner in a bright shimmery turquoise color for $2.99.  Would I have bought that exact product from MAC for say, $12?  Nope!

I urge you to give Wet n Wild a try!  I know one of my looks that I’ll be strutting in Vegas next to my (free) poolside cabana is with the new turquoise liquid liner.
