The Beauty Within

I finally went out clubbing today with my coworkers to celebrate 2 gals birthdays.  I normally don’t like to go clubbing because well… clubs are filled with yucky sweaty people who loves to bump into you and leave their sugary alcoholic drinks on the floor to make it all sticky and gross.  Yes, I am a dork.

But hey, I’m a young girl, so I do get the itch to go out and party once in a while (a very very long while).  And I do like my coworkers, they are fun and caring people, so it was pretty much a guaranteed good night out.

Anyhow.. back to make up that lasts.  I totally didn’t have a plan today!  I was just like, ohh.. I don’t want my eyeshadow to crease.

So I stare at my make up (which is currently stored in 3 different places mind you), and decided to go with a Paint Pot from MAC in Layin’ Low as a base.  That alone just guaranteed that my eyeshadow will go on true in color, and it will stay on for hours!  No sweat or oil glands will cause my pretty eye make up to crease!

I also layered on tons of bronzer, blush, and highlighter to ensure that my cheeks will be glowing the entire night.  And yes.. at 4:43 AM, my cheeks still look great!  I’m practically picture ready.

The only thing that I should have done but didn’t was to wear false lashes.  I don’t remember where I stored them, so I used L’oreal Voluminous mascara instead.  The results weren’t too horrible, but it did smudge just a teensy bit.

So the overall story is that my make up looked good, and still looks good almost 11 hours after I applied it (6 PM the previous night).  That means.. go get some MAC Paint Pots and you’ll never have to touch up your make up!
