Knotts Fun!

February 11th, 2008 · No Comments

My company had a super late Holiday party at Knotts today.  I guess it could be considered as a Lunar New Years Party?  Anyhow.. I brought my oldest sister with me since my hubby is super tired from work (the flower business sucks), and we had a lot of fun.  Both of us are chickens.. well, I told my coworkers that I get motion sickness, but in reality, I’m more scared of heights.. so we didn’t go on any rollercoasters.  Watching the roller coasters twist and turn actually made my stomach twist and turn, and I did get naseous from that.  =D

What did we end up doing the whole time?

We walked around and took pictures!!!  And SHOP!!

Well.. we first ate at the company picnic and played with the kids of my coworkers.  My co-trainee Tammy has the most adorable kids ever!  And they were really well behaved!  The 2 year old girl just sat there quietly and ate, without being told to eat.  When you looked at her she would flash a HUGE smile at you.  The 3 year old boy gets really tunnel visioned when it comes to eating, and would only eat watermelons for the longest time.  I think he eventually ate part of a hot dog, and tried to put boysenberry jam on his corn.  He was also so talkative and cute!!  I wonder how Tammy manages to tear herself away frm her babies every morning.  If my babies were that cute, I’d probably never want to leave their sides.  =D

Oh.. and somebody guessed that my OLDEST sister was 19.  Shit… that’ll mean she looks younger than me!!  Or.. I look like I’m 16??  The young-looking Asian gene is both a blessing and a curse, don’t you think?

Anyhow.. we ended up buying a lot of Sanrio stuff.  They had a store that carried the now-hard-to-find characters like Keroppi and Badtz Maru, so instead of buying Snoopy stuff, we bought Sanrio.  My sister bought $150 worth of Badtz Maru things, since she absolutely loves Badtz Maru, and I bought a stainless steel Keroppi mug, since I loved Keroppi as a kid.  It was my favorite character when I was in 3rd grade.

We were done by 5, got home by 6, and by 6:30, both of us had fallen asleep on the couch.
