T’estimo Frame Impact Eyes

December 19th, 2007 · 1 Comment

I’ve been playing with the blue T’estimo Frame Impact Eye pallet, and I’m loving it so far. I swear my eyes end up looking like beautiful star-filled sky with this on. The eye shadows are all very pigmented and full of shimmer. They are all extremely soft and easy to blend, and the shadows do not crease at all. That my friend, is the meaning of a high quality eye shadow.

The pallet comes with 3 colors, a white highlighter to put underneath the brow, a gorgeous medium blue that goes from your lid up to your crease (or a little bit above it if you have typical “Asian” eyes), and a dark night blue that goes on your lids, and or on the outside crease to emphasize your crease. It also comes with a black cream liner that’s really easy to put on, and I just line my lash line with it so my whole eye will pop, and simultaneously make my lashes look fuller.

This pallet is also great to use for a super smoky eye. Use a small brush (synthetic or natural, just as long as you can use it to blend cream liners), dab it into a little bit of the black cream liner. Apply the black starting near the bottom of your lids, near the lash line, and build it up til it hits your crease. You can even let it peak a little teensy bit outside your crease. Use your fingers to smudge it, but just make sure it’s even and you don’t totally look like you have a black eye. Do not extend it too far outside your eye; keep it a nice round dome-y shape. Then take the lighter blue from the pallet, and lightly tap the shadow on the inner top of the black, and blend it in with the black. It gives your eye some dimensions, so you don’t look like Bellatrix Lestrange, and gives your otherwise boring smoke some sparkle. Then blend some of the white shadow underneath your brows. Finish the look by lining your bottom lashes with either the black cream OR with the dark blue shadow, and voila, GORGEOUS eyes. I got bored today and wanted to do a black smoky-eye look, which I always have trouble pulling off, but the blue sparkles really help get the look from too harsh to perfectly gorgeous. As the general rule with smoky eyes, make sure you blend blend and blend!

I’m so glad I bought this pallet, even though I’ve had horrible experiences with blue shadows in the past. Blue just reminds me of the 80s and of my mom, but this blue is so different. It fits me just right, and it’s beautiful and gorgeous.

Get it for approximately $25 USD from AdamBeauty.com!
