Lately I’ve been on a huge cosmetics buying binge. I’ve pretty much bought at least one purchase every single week for the past month. The thing is, I now actually have some extra money to spend, and being the beauty junkie I am, I just can’t help it.

Last week I went over to Nordstrom to check out MAC’s 2007 Holiday Collection to see all the gorgeous colors I’ve seen only in picture on other beauty blogs. I was totally impressed with all the colors in the Antiquitease collection, as well as the Royal Assets pallets. I’ll talk more in depth about the Royal Assets pallet later, but today, I must focus on the beautiful Antiquitease lipstick.

I was about to walk away when I overheard another MUA telling a customer that they only had one Antiquitease lipstick left. There wasn’t one on display, and I totally couldn’t remember how it looked like from the many pictures I’ve looked at. The beauty junkie inside me just thought, “It’s a limited edition product, and there’s only one left. I must have it!”

Needless to say, I purchased the lipstick (as well as the Royal Assets Cool Eye Pallet). I discovered it to be a bold and shimmery copper that really makes a statement when you wear it. I tried it with a few different looks, and I found it to look best when I just wear a neutral/plain color on the eyes with a thin black liner and a warm peachy cheek. Take a look for it yourself and tell me it’s not gorgeous!
