The Beauty Within

So I work at 7 AM now, meaning I leave the house around 6:30 everyday.  Yes yes, it only takes 6 minutes to get to work, but then parking takes me around 5 minutes, and putting on shoes takes another 5, and actually walking to the office and back to the car to get my key card takes another 5, anyways.. it all adds up time.

At this time of the year, the sun is barely out when I put on my makeup.  The end result?  Hazardous….

This morning I thought of doing the bronzer/blush combo, so I pulled out my trusty Nars bronzer and dust it lightly on the upper corner of my cheekbone, and then pulled out my free Smashbox intermix blush and dust it on the apples of my cheeks, slightly covering the bronzer.  Afterwards I thought, Hmm.. I can’t see anything… So I pulled out my trusty hot pink blush from Missha, and applied (with a rather heavy hand) more blush all over.  I still couldn’t see anything, but I was running out of time and thought.. whatever..

I get to work, and after a while head to the bathroom.  I almost screamed when I saw my face because I looked like a damn clown!  HOLY SMOKES!!!

So…. be careful when you apply makeup in indecent light,  and don’t apply blush on with a heavy hand after you’ve already applied 2 layers.
