I have NO idea how “interview make up” should look like. According to my mom, I wear “too much make up” (roll eyes), for day time. While I won’t admit that I’m wearing too much make up, but I do like wearing lots of colors, and doing up my lashes.
What’s appropriate for an interview then? What color of blush do I wear?
And also… how should I do my hair? I’ve been slicking it back into a bun (complete with a hair net), and it looks and feels so stuffy. Thing is, I do have red hair with pink highlights, so I don’t know how uhh.. appropriate leaving my hair down would be for an interview.
Help?

Haha. Only you.
Go for no colors- black and white, as in black and natural tones. Skip the eyeshadows and fancy eyework and the blush (unless it’s a very close to skintone blush). Do the eyeliner/mascara and keep your face CLEAN looking. No sparkly winky wink.
And hair: just have it back somehow- whether half back or fully pulled back doesn’t matter. Use either a black hair tie or a nice barette. Hair down is… ok but not if you have to curl it or straighten it. Keep in mind that looks are SECOND to doing your job. You don’t want to look like someone’s date.
This is for a serious interview btw, not a creative one.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
